We are the board! Besides aiming to always be there for our students and help out where Cognito can, we also have some personal goals, such as providing students events that will help their academic and personal growth. We are also working on tightening our relationship with our sister student associations, our faculty and university, so that the union can be even more of service to you.
Here’s a message from each board member to you guys!
Chara: “Hello, my name is Chara. I am from Greece, and currently, I am doing the MBCS master’s specifically in the translational neuroscience track. In Cognito, I manage external affairs, which means I come into contact with all our external collaborators. Hope to meet you at one of our events! :)”
Thea: “Hi! I’m Thea, a first-year student in the Cognitive Neuroscience track, and I’ll be managing internal affairs for Cognito this year. My role is to promote our events and keep you informed through all our online channels :)”
Moritz: “Hi, I’m Moritz. I moved from Vienna to Amsterdam for the MBCS, but am originally from Lüneburg, Germany. I’m in the Cognitive Science track and will be the treasurer for Cognito this year. I am making sure that our budget allows as many cool events as possible!”
Riccardo: “Hello from Riccardo. I’m in the cognitive science track and I’ll be the Secretary of Cognito for this year. I’ll take care of the internal administration and of communication with other organizations. “
Nina: “Hi! I’m Nina, a first-year student in the Cognitive Science track, an I’ll be serving as the President of Cognito this year. My role is to represent our community, as well as oversee our events and longer-term goals. I’m here to ensure that Cognito makes you feel both academically and socially at home! :)”
